Unstake CHALK: Timing and Rules

Read the conditions affecting CHALK unstaking before attempting to move a staked balance.

Understand the Unstake control

The CHALK dashboard provides a dedicated Unstake area alongside Stake. It displays Your staked and an amount field. Whether the Unstake action is available depends on the state of the interface and, for real transactions, the protocol and wallet.

How the one-day lock matters

The staking terms displayed under Stake say the token is locked for one day. An initial lock can prevent immediate unstaking. The saved HTML does not confirm all exceptions or a precise unlock timestamp for a particular wallet.

How token burns affect withdrawal

The interface explicitly says that half of the stake burns every day. As a result, the amount eligible for unstaking could differ from the amount originally committed. Users should distinguish wallet amount, staked amount, burned amount and USDG rewards.

Unstake is not redemption

The Redeem section is a separate interface with its own epoch and pool information. Its wording says redeemed CHALK cannot be withdrawn. Do not infer that a successful Unstake action can reverse a redemption.

Verify live availability

Before approving any on-chain operation, confirm the wallet balance, token contract, network, required gas and the latest transaction preview.

Important: Staking, redemption and token transfers involve risk. Verify current contract rules and transaction details. The documentation describes interface terminology and does not guarantee USDG returns.
