Stake CHALK on Blackboard

A step-by-step reading guide to the Stake panel, including the lock period and critical burn considerations.

Before staking CHALK

Identify the CHALK token you intend to use and confirm that the network, wallet, contract and staking interface match your expectations. Do not rely on a logo or a search snippet as proof of authenticity. Read the displayed token lock and burn conditions in full.

Using the Stake panel

The supplied dashboard shows a Stake field, a Max control, an In wallet balance and a Stake action. A live product may ask the user to connect a compatible wallet and confirm a blockchain transaction. A saved HTML page is not itself evidence that staking transactions are enabled.

One-day token lock

The staking terms displayed in the source say CHALK is locked for one day. This may affect when an unstake action can occur. The actual on-chain state and current contract rules, rather than the wording of a copied page, determine what a transaction can do.

Daily burn and return calculations

The same terms state that half of the stake burns daily. For example, if a burn applied as stated to a balance of 100 CHALK without other changes, the remaining balance after one burn would be 50 CHALK. That numerical illustration is not a prediction of the contract or reward payout.

After staking

Monitor Your staked, Pending distribution and the Activities table. Track CHALK position changes and USDG rewards separately rather than treating them as a single balance.

Important: Staking, redemption and token transfers involve risk. Verify current contract rules and transaction details. The documentation describes interface terminology and does not guarantee USDG returns.
